Lux-Delux Design is the creation of internationally exhibited ceramic artist David Pier.  Its purpose is to make available his award-winning designs at affordable prices.  It was started in 2007 when David finally found, after years of searching, a factory able to meet his standards for materials and shape fidelity.  Lux-Delux Design is presently located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
